Monitor 4&4EC Handheld Radiation DetectorThe multifunctional nuclear radiation detector is a high-precision handheld analog radiation detector with a compact shape and ergonomics. The core detector adopts a new generation of improved high-precision and fast-response GM detection tubes manufactured by the American Bureau of Standards. It has more accurate functions and higher reliability. It has the characteristics of high sensitivity and high detection accuracy. It is especially more sensitive to low-intensity rays and can effectively detect α, β, γ and X-rays.
Monitor 4&4EC has built-in 3 detection ranges (freely switchable), providing excellent sensitivity and accuracy. The machine has a built-in buzzer. When an ionization event is detected, the instrument will flash the indicator light on the top to prompt and make a "beep" sound through the buzzer. The frequency of the indicator light flashing and the frequency of the sound will automatically be based on the intensity and change of the detected ionization event, helping the operator to quickly judge the radiation intensity of the currently detected item.
Compared with Monitor 4, the Monitor 4EC version continues the compensation gain processing of the detector signal processing, optimizes the gamma ray and X-ray detection functions (above 40 keV), automatically removes messy pulse signals, and can provide more linear and better readable readings.
