ContactThe ORTEC model A-576 A-PAD is a single-width NIM module for use with silicon barrier radiation detectors for alpha spectrum measurements and counting. The instrument consists of a variable radiation detector bias supply, preamplifier, shaping and stretching amplifier, bias amplifier, test pulse generator and discriminator. The radiation detector bias supply and amplifier have selectable polarity, allowing the A-PAD to be used with any charged particle silicon semiconductor radiation detector. For example, it can be used in conjunction with ORTEC ULTRA ion-implanted Si radiation detectors and ruggedized surface barrier radiation detectors.
