The sensor arrangement of RaySafe DXR+ is specially designed to meet the needs of real-time detection of the consistency of the radiograph, breast machine irradiation field and indicator light field.
RaySafe DXR+ operates at voltages as low as 30 kV and provides objective, reproducible and immediately readable results.
The metric scale of an X-ray image can be seen on the RaySafe DXR+ PCB. International rules recommend that the consistency error between the irradiation field and the indicated light field should be less than 2% of the SID. The mammography machine is ±5 mm from the edge of the examination table. The characteristics of the sensor provide accurate and instant results where adjustments are needed.
