DETECTIVE-X-TS is physically identical to the DETECTIVE-X radioisotope identifier, known as the “gold standard” in mission-critical detection and identification. Similar to ORTEC's past TRANS-SPEC-100T and MICRO-TRANS-SPEC equipment, the DETECTIVE-X-TS is specifically designed as a more economical, portable, high-resolution gamma spectrometer for on-site measurements, not just as an automatic nuclide identification instrument. DETECTIVE-X-TS models includeGuaranteed resolution performance and MCA emulation software, but does not include isotope identification applications in other DETECTIVE-X models (Detective X, RAPiD, and Sleuth). DETECTIVE-X-TS can be upgraded to DETECTIVE-X 3 MeV and 8 MeV modes and also provides a dose calibration service.
