Detailed introduction

USACIRS 711-HN head phantom

Product introduction:

USAThe CIRS 711-HN head phantom is a very realistic maxillofacial model for dental cone beam CT and panoramic X-ray.

Reference standard for radiographic diagnosis of the head. The purpose of this phantom is to assist technical and clinical staff in the selection, monitoring, training and validation of scan parameters commonly used in most radiology procedures requiring fine anatomical detail.

The CIRS 711-HN head phantom provides researchers, clinicians and technicians with a consistent tool. It is ideal for determining good system settings, commissioning new equipment, monitoring system performance and training on dental X-ray, panoramic X-ray, CT and cone beam CT procedures.

The CIRS 711-HN head phantom is constructed of proprietary tissue-equivalent materials. ATOM®max is made of tissue-simulating resin that simulates the X-ray attenuation characteristics of human tissue, CT and treatment energy range (50keV-25MeV).

include detailed3D anthropomorphic anatomy including brain, bones, larynx, trachea, sinuses, nasal cavity and teeth. The bone contains cortical and trabecular separations. Teeth include unique dentin, enamel, and root structures including nerves. The sinus cavity is fully opened. The jaws are slightly open and the front teeth are aligned vertically to replicate the correct positioning of the bite guide. Please note that this product cannot hold an actual bite guide.

Adjustable stand available in cone beamAccurate phantom positioning within CT or panoramic X-ray systems. It can be adjusted on the xyz axes and also rotated around these axes. The head easily screws onto the bracket and locks into place.
