SPoRT™ is designed to help teach and improve patient positioning, alignment, and anatomical understanding, and its broad range of features helps effectively guide comprehensive, high-quality pediatric imaging.
The CIRS 715 Pediatric Anthropomorphic Training Model represents a typical 5-year-old size and structure, making it portable and easy to position. The whole body, head, arms and legs are 110 cm (43 inches) tall and weigh 20 kg (44 lbs). The collection includes six segmented models that can be purchased individually or as a complete set.
rightThe top end is available in extended or curved configurations. The left arm and leg may have or not have embedded fractures. Fracture types include common pediatric fracture types, including tibial flexion fractures and common fractures of fibula; fractures to the first metatarsal; radius fractures using open reduction and hardware, and common fractures to the first middle phalanx.
Components are made from appropriate urethane and epoxy materials that simulate human tissueX-ray attenuation characteristics for diagnostic and therapeutic energy range (50keV-25MeV). The material is durable, impact-resistant and suitable for continuous handling. Transparent soft tissue facilitates visual guidance of anatomical landmarks.
SPoRT™ is available for film radiography, CR, DR and computed tomography.
