142IH brochure 142IH brochure (A4) 142IH Manual The Model 142IH can be used with semiconductor radiation detectors, proportional counters, ionization chambers and low-gain photomultiplier tubes.
It accommodates detector capacitances up to 2000 pF. The device is therefore ideally suited for high-resolution spectroscopy applications.
The preamplifier contains a built-in protection to prevent damage to the input FETs due to accidental application of excessive voltage. Its small size also allows it to operate in an experimental vacuum.
