The Trans-SPEC-X-N is structurally identical to the popular “gold standard” DETECTIVE-X radionuclide identifier in nuclear security measurement. Also similar to ORTEC's traditional TRANS-SPEC-100T and MICRO-TRANS-SPEC equipment, the Trans-SPEC-X-N focuses on on-site energy spectrum collection rather than nuclide identification. Trans-SPEC-X-N models offer guaranteed resolution performance and come equipped with MCA emulation software.
Function
- Main energy spectrum display interface: Log/Lin, Zoom, Region of Interest (ROI), Start, End, Clear acquisition data and save energy spectrum
- Peak/ROI data display interface: center channel address, FWHM, start/end channel address, total/net peak area and count rate
- Changeable spectral marker data interface: energy, track address, count
- Changeable status bar interface: select any 2 of the following - live time, real time, remaining live time, remaining real time, remaining battery life, count rate and ROI count rate
- MCA control interface: ADC conversion channel addresses (upper and lower limits), amplifier gain coarse and fine adjustments, baseline recovery (auto, fast, slow), gain and zero stabilizers, high voltage switch
- Pre-acquisition parameter interface: live time, real time, ROI peak and ROI integral
- Health status interface: ±12 V, +3.3 V, detector temperature, case temperature, cold finger temperature and high voltage
- Security interface: Password protected user/admin mode, lock/hide spectrum display during acquisition
- Energy scale: Quadratic fitting of energy and road address
- External Interfaces: Compatible with all ORTEC CONNECTIONS related applications such as MAESTRO, MAESTRO-Pro, GammaVision, Isotopic, Renaissance, and A11 Tools Package.
