ORTEC 550AA single-channel analyzer can then select counts within a range of output pulse amplitudes from a spectral amplifier. It provides the excellent stability, resolution and dynamic range required for high-resolution germanium and silicon detector measurements. These features together with scintillation counters, proportional counters and ionization chambers result in unparalleled performance. The entire instrument is DC coupled to ensure that the discriminator level is not affected by count rate changes even at very high count rates.
