Detailed introductionMultichannel Analyzers (MCAs) are key instruments in many scientific measurements. MCA analyzes a stream of voltage pulses and sorts them into a histogram or "spectrum" of pulse height versus number of events, which is usually related to energy or arrival time. Stored spectra can be displayed and analyzed later.
